i highly doubt this. this honeybee fixed pitch is extremely popular at the moment. why would you discontinue when its making money?

If you check the E-Sky Manufacturer site, all the discontinued helis, planes and cars do not have a New part number assigned.
Only the units in continuing production were assigned new numbers.
http://www.twf-sz.com/english/product.asp
It appears as though E-Sky is going to mostly helis and one or to planes and no cars.

E-Sky is converting their electric helis into the 2.4Ghz versions. It does not appear that the E-Sky HBFP will be phased out yet. They appear to be testing the waters with newer or what the call fresh models like the (BIG LAMA, K.O.B. (King of Bird), Hunter, King 4, etc.) I'm not sure how these are selling. But E-Sky is converting to 2.4 Ghz DSM technology, adding LIPO batteries instead of NiHD, and some higher end helis just come with a brushless motor setup. All off which are lipsticked with bright colors and newer looking shaped canopies. Walkera and Exceed are also doing this. Should be interesting.

Whatever heli you buy, always make sure there are spare parts available from mutiple vendors.
