Good Afternoon:

I personally like the Walkera #4 or the Exceed Falcon-40. Both are the EXACT same heli.
They fly very well but unlike the Lama Coaxial helis they will be a lot harder to fly.
I learned on the Falcon/Walkera FP helis and then moved up to a Belt CP.
The Walkera can be gotten here with excellent customer service and a good price:

Also a good supply of parts for the same:

You can ge a ton of help on the Falcon 40 thread Here:

Hope this helps.

Of the upgrades available are a Metal Rotor Core, wood blades, Super Skids,
Brushless Motor kits, Upgraded brushed motors Metal Fly bars, Metal Swash plate, Super Boom, (Tail Boom), Different color canopies.
There a lot of upgrades to buy and Mods available to do your self.
You should read the thread for the Falcon-40 It will be a tremendous help.

You can upgrade your Exceed Falcon 40/Walkera #4 to a main brushless motor with an 11.1volt LIPO upgrade and fast blow fuses. I did the mod and it works great. I also upgraded the landing gear system to the Super Skids 300 with the Super skids titanium 267 tail boom and super grips. I added the Simon metal rotor core with the X-treme metal composite blade grip and metal control paddle. You can get more info on my website in the video below.
