Default First successful hover!

Yesterday the weather was just warm enough to venture outside and get my first successful hover which didn't last more than a couple of seconds. Not suprisingly it was also my first good crash. Fortunately for me when I got my used HBK2 I also got a second one for parts!! lol
I managed to smoke a pair of blades and flybar centre holder where the bell crank attaches to it but I've managed to replace all damaged parts, now it's time to try my next hover session (and probably my next crash too...lol).

Nice! The thrill of your first hover. I can see a lot more thrills in your figure!

Thanks to everyone, you all truly make a guy feel welcome. I'm like so many other snow bound folks, I'm dying for the snow to just go away so I can finally fly!!

Cheers,

Many people in your situation get a sim, or the Blade mSR to fly around in the house.

Or, you could go skiing! (that's another form of flying...)

Congrats on your first hover. I know the butterflies were swarming on the inside - I'll never forget that feeling. Just keep practicing, take baby steps, and you'll be hovering a full pack in no time flat!!!!
