Default help please! honey bee tail rotor bouncing

I just got my new esky honey bee belt drive tail rotor with collective pitch and it flies great but I get a bad bouncing motion from the tail rotor, its like a wobble but instead of wobbling side to side, the tail seems to be bouncing up and down. It settels down after a bit but starts right back up again. Has anyone else had this problem or knows how to stop it? Thanks

Hey Hornet,

In the coaxials that I fly - if the gyro "gain" pot on the side of the 4in1 is too tight it causes the tail to bob up & down. Just a thought[sm=72_72.gif]

P.S. I'm going to butt out now mate

I also had the same problem with my Co-Comanche. It would fly fine but when I would give it any cyclic input the tail would begin to bounce up and down. As stated above, I also had to adjust my 4 in 1 to resolve the issue.

This can happen if the tail rotor isn't exactly vertical.

Hey again Hornet,

From your lack of response - I assume you actually got it to behave! Great mate![sm=thumbs_up.gif]
