Help with dx6
Hi all,
I have been reading and messing with my dx6 for some time now and still dont understand theSB-trim GER and the travel adj GeR.I took off the 3in1 off of my cpp along with my g90 hh gryo and put it on my Honey Bee fixed pitch Heli.I know about disableing the gain on the 3in1 and setting the gyro to 50%.If anyone could explain the GER setting and how they work that would be great Thanks Rich |

I'm unfamiliar with the DX6, but thats probably the Gear setting you are talking about.
If your Gyro was connected to the Gear channel, you would adjust it there. Check the manual to be sure, but thats most likely it. |

Looking at my TREX settings using a telebee gyro I have the gear ch set at -45 to +45 .......one side of that is HH mode and the other is Rate mode. I know nothing about the Eflite gyros but I set mine up according to finless's vids. I also have my travel rates set at less than 100% on the rudder........ like at 75% each way. Is that any help...........or should i retreat to the corner? hers a snippit from my DX6/TREX settings:
TRV ADJ Ger - 45% + 45% when switching to rate mode on D/R switch PIT -100% +100% from low to high throttle AIL -100% +100% cyclic left to cyclic right ELE -100% +100% cyclic down to cyclic up RUD - 75% + 74% To adjust servo travel on tail servo, it varies BLADE CP PRO AND DX6 THR – Norm AIL – Rev ELE – Rev RUD- Rev GER – Norm PIT – Norm D/R - Dual Rates AIO - 75% AI1 - 100% ELO - 75% EL1 - 100% EXP – Exponential AIO – 6% AI1 – 6% ELO – 6% EL1 – 6% Sub-Trim – Will vary and will be set once the heli is powered up to center the 3 CCPM servos. This will be mentioned later in the article. TRV ADJ RUD – 80% in both directions THR (-110%) at bottom stick and (+70%) at full throttle stick All other channels should be 100% in both directions. Note default is 100% for each channel so the other channels should be at 100% at this point. HLD – Activate Throttle Hold – See page 77 in DX6 manual. Set 0% as value this will shut off throttle when this switch is activated. PLN – 0% - Default Setting P2N – 50% - Default Setting PHN – 100% - Default Setting PLS - 0% - Default Setting P2S – 50% - Default Setting PHS – 100% - Default Setting PLH – 0% - Default Setting P2H – 50% - Default Setting PHH – 100% - Default Setting TLN – 0% - Default Setting T2N – 70% THN – 100% - Default Setting TLS – 0% - Default Setting T2S – 70% MIX RVU – Default Setting 0% MIX RVD – Default Setting 0% MIX A11 – Mix is OFF – Default Setting MIX CP2 +70% MIX CP3 +66% MIX CP6 +50% MIX CCP – ON __________________________________________________ ___________________________________ Of all the things I ever lost....................................... Also....here is my settings for the DX6 and the HBK2......but no HH gyro...just the stock rate one:
