Jetero RC Club Competitive Fun Fly 2-19-11
The Jetero RC Club, NE of Houston, TX, is again hosting their Frozen Fickle Finger of Fate Competition Fun Fly.

The "Plan" is for 4 rounds, each round with 2 tasks. 2 rounds are single airplane, last 2 rounds are multi-plane rounds.
Tasks are simple to modest and can be flown with any standard RC trainer. Aircraft will need landing gear for take-offs and landings. Any AMA legal airplane is OK to TRY with.[X(] Try a chopper but will be treated same as a conventional airplane. [:-]
Lunch provided for Pilots and Workers.
Entry fee is $20. Awards are a Percentage (%) of the total entry fees collected. Over all winners will be 1st-25%, 2nd-20%, 3rd-15%. Round winners get 5% each for 1st, 4 rounds. Club gets 20% to offset administrative expenses and food.
Scoring: Rnd. winners by points of the rnd. Overall are scored by number of persons bested in each round flown.
Tactics: Get all your buddies that don't fly so well to enter and take their money!!!!
This event is sanctioned by AMA, #11-0006. This year is AMA's 75th year in business. Let's start the year with having a good time with fellow AMA members. NOTE: Only Full AMA memberships allowed. Applications available on site.

Looks like good wx forecast for a fun time. Our nice new "Jetero Club House" will be a pleasant place for "hangar" talk. I hope to get to field by noon if my flight arrives IAH as scheduled.
