Extreme Aerobatic Club 3D Fly In August 26-28
St Charles, IL (Outside of Chicago)

The EAC (Extreme Aerobatic Club) is a one of a kind event. We combine some of the best 3-D flying you'll ever see with a state of the art sound system playing music the entire day. We usually have a few pilots that fly 4-minute freestyle's to music. We have a few demonstrations and plenty of help for anyone wanting to learn 3D. We also allow plenty of time for open flying. There will be pilot raffles and spectator raffles. Pilot Fee is $20 which includes lunch.

We will have open flying on Friday the 26th. Saturday and Sunday the fly in will start at 9AM until dark. Any IMAA legal airplane is welcomed. AMA insurance required. Food and bathrooms will be available.

Aero Graphix will be there! If anyone has any special requests for decals please let us know early that week so that we can bring them up with us. This event will be great for all of the 3Ders from the north land. Most of the EAC's are held south of MO and IL so this should be a real treat for those of you who have never attended an EAC event. It is a one of a kind event that no one else does on a monthly basis like these are. It's a great time and everyone is welcome from the novice 3Der to the pros. Everyone gets along great and you can talk to any of the guys and they will be more than happy to help anyone out with a problem or questions.

Well we all had a great time in Tulsa, Now we are all looking forward to St. Charles, IL. Spoke with Chris Fry and Matt Manke. Sounds like they are looking forward to this event. This is the only EAC event that will be held up North so I hope a lot of you that do not normally attend the Southern EAC's come on out to this one! I know I am looking forward to the fly-in and seeing some new faces!

First things first... NO WE WILL NOT BE SHOOTING FOAMIES ON CRACK III......

I think we will be able to talk the OHIO GUYS, Matt and Darren into comming... (there will be cold beer, NUF SAID)

We have a new 800 foot runway with nothing around but wide open spaces... Im sure all of you guys living in the midwest that havent been to a EAC event will be amazed... I usually have to travel hundreds of miles to fly with these guys... They are some of the best pilots in the country... They will be here to help you with anything from flying to setting up your radios... The demos are just amazing... So be sure to make it.. It will be fun...

Sounds like fun, but can you guys do me a favor this time, don't have people set up there shade tents just inside the chain link fence like the last few events. Also, you should have the big tents at the west of the field back away from the fence. If you only leave the bleacher area open for spectators to see from, your going to have a bunch of unhappy people.
Maybe you didn't notice because you were behind the fence, but it is no fun watching the action through a bunch of tents. You could make the viewing area so much bigger to host the huge number of people that have been coming to the events.
On another note, this field is awesome. From the spectator area you are pretty close to the runway and can see great take offs and landings, and the field is all wide open.Anybody that goes will have a great time, FVAC throws a great party. Live a little and bring your friends. Usually when I bring friends out flying they want to get into it.... Great way to expand the hobby to others.

Here is a pic of some of the close in flying that you will see. We normally have a Torque Roll Gaggle during the noon time demo. We have had up to ten 40% aircraft all in the air together all hovering and Toque Rolling together. It is a site to be seen and a sound like no other! At the last EAC in Chattanooga, TN the spectators were amazed to see what went on at these fly-ins. Everyone had a smile on their face on the way out of the field that day.

We are getting closer to the flyin and all the local papers have put stories in.. so there will be lots of spectators comming out to see everyone flying... There will be lots of videos as well... so be sure to come out and have some fun with us..
