Hi gang

I am giving everyone a personal invitation to the first annual Planes for Kids benefit fly in for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. 100% goes to the hospital. I do not know of any child they have ever turned down for treatment. They are also one of the nations top research hospital for cancer with children. These children are innocent and convict my heart. The event will be held at the Grundy County Remote Control Flying Club in Tennessee. The event will be September 16th, 2006. I think it is going to be huge aswell. There will be several good pilots there. A rep of UK Quick and Airtronics are going to do some demo stuff. That is going to be something to see. Also the Tennessee Rotary Wing Club is coming. They are a great bunch and super pilots too. It sure is a blessing to be able to help save children and have fun at the same time.

Hi all

I will be listing all the items to auction, give aways, events for the kids, and prizes for pilot and winners and so on soon . I thought some would like to see the field. It is located a top the beautiful Cumberland Mountain with some , amazing, and awesome viewing. We have over a 1000' main runway that is 150' wide and a 800' Y for wind change that is 150' wide at the least point A friend shoot these about a while back. The big bird will have not problem with landing or taken off. the light spots are dirt we used to make it smoother.

Also the Tennessee Rotary Wing Club has been very helpful and is planning to attend. Thanks goes out to Chris from Caliber 30 and cookeville Raceway. Terry, from Cookeville is going to do some Heli demo stuff. I am working hard to get as many sponsor as I can to make it a super day for everyone. Hello

It is a week till the flying for kids fly in. It will be a day of fun while helping save children. I would like to thank all the many clubs and persons that have contacted me to support this cause. It amazes me how the persons of this hobby are so willing to help these children. I would like to also thank the AMA, Horizon, Hobbieco, and Hobbytown USA. I will post some photos and winners. Everyone is very welcomed!

We had a great time, and made some money for the kids. I can not wait till next year. I would like to thank all the pilots that came. A specal thank you goes out to the AMA and HobbyTown USA in Chatanooga Tennesse. Below are some winner photos. The kids had a blast doing the plane toss.
