Open to all Electric Helicopter and Airplane Pilots! Frequency board available.

Heli contest was a "timed flight". Pilots were asked to fly/hover as close to a minute as possible.

First place, 3 points Tom Thomasian, his prize was blades.

Second place, 2 points Tony Thomasian, his prize was a battery pack.
Third place, 1 point Michael Williams, his prize was a $10 gift certificate from Tammies and 6mm depron.

All registered pilots, 1 point.

NO FLYING AT THE HOOP THIS SAT FEB 17TH, BIG BASKETBALL TOURNEMENT.

Last week's contest results:

Heli contest was a "timed flight". Pilots were asked to fly/hover as close to 90 seconds as possible.

First place, 3 points Chris Ekerson, his prizes were a $10 gift cert to Tammies and plasti-blades.
Second place, 2 points Chris Dahmen, his prizes were an Align canopy and servo tape.
Third place, 1 point Fred Millard, his prizes were Align blades and servo tape.

Other Heli competitors were; Dennis "Two Points" Laughlin, Nicole Gullberg, Ali Oztaskin, Ward Stroud and James Gillilan

Airplane contest was a "timed flight". Pilots were asked to fly as close to 90 seconds as possible.

First place, 3 points Matt "Velcro Mount" Bailey, his prizes were a Flatout reflection airplane and a $10 gift cert to Tammies.
Second place, 2 points Steve Varnum, his prizes were a sheet of 3mm depron and servo tape.
Third place, 1 point Tony Thomasian, his prizes were a sheet of 3mm depron and a tube of thread lock.

Other Airplane competitors were; Michael Williams, Jim McDowell and Chris Dahmen.

Chris Dahmen ended his timed flight with the "Best Crash of the Night" and received a $10 gift cert to Tammies.

All registered pilots, 1 point.

NO FLYING AT THE HOOP THIS SAT MAR 3RD, BIG TOURNEMENT.

Several pilots have asked for more flying dates. We will let you know the next date.

Last Saturday's (Feb 24th) results:

Final contest to determine #1 Airplane Pilot was a 3 minute free style flight to music. It was very cool. Tony and Michael were the two participants. Judging was by fellow flyers. Tony came out on top!

Final prizes for the season were handed out to Airplane and Heli pilots. Placement was by accumulated points.

Tony and Michael were only one point apart going into the last contest!

Airplanes:

First place, Tony Thomasian, his prizes were a complete Spektrum 6 radio system, a flatout airplane, a motor, a flight battery and esc.

Second place, Michael Williams, his prizes were 4 S75 servos, a flatout airplane, a motor, a flight battery and esc.

Third place, Matt Bailey, his prize was a flatout airplane.

Helis:

First place, Ken Gullberg, his prize was a complete Spektrum 6 radio system.

We are done with contests and point accumulation.

Here is an update on the final heli results for the season.

2nd place, Tom Thomasian, his prize was an Evo lipo battery 2150 mAh.
3rd place, Jeff Sitton, his prize was carbon fibre blades

Future flying dates will be on a week by week basis. We will continue to ask for dates and will let you know.
