San Diego and/or Orlando
I am traveling to the San Diego area the middle of March and would be interested in hanging out at a local field while the ladies go shopping. Can someone HELP me please!!!!!
Also will be in the Orlando area in June and would like the same info.

A cool place to go would be the Torrey Pines Gliderport- trust me- it's worth checking out- there are hang gliders, parapentes(paragliders, often referred to as "pair o' panties")and many r/c gliders.
It's on a 400 foot cliff above the blue Pacific. Take the 5 fwy north to Genesee Rd, go west, then left at the fork, then take the first right, if I recall correctly, it's well known and pretty easy to find. good luck- Paul

when in orlando, go to r.c.a.c.f field (radio control assn. of central fla.) they are a great club! or you can come down to propbusters here in lakeland, right by fantasy of flight (about 30 mi. away from orlando). both clubs have websites on ama links page. f. of flight has it's own, do a search, largest private airplane collection.
