After several years away, I'm getting back into diesel. It seems that I remember a brand of tank which was compatible with both diesel and glow fuel (tank, lines, stopper, the whole unit could be swapped from glow to diesel without changes).
Also, what filters work with diesel fuel?
Thanks

The Hayes tanks are perfect NO CONVERSIONS NEEDED PICK UP LINE AND CLUNK FINE FOR DIESEL Just use diesel fuel lines for the fill and engine feed line to the carb
also that small insert that is the fuel feed to the carb and other end to the pickup line in the tank has a ring metal steel lock push on sleeve that goes over it it will not leak
or pop off martin
Filter use the 2 pc little metal one

Plus 1 for the Hayes tank, or its Asian clone (C&Y) which also works well, if you use flexible black runner tubing for the pick up in place of silicone.
Hayes tanks are great though ... they give you nice diesel proof black tubing with the tank.
I like the sullivan crap trap in line filters, double screen filtering, no halves to unscrew or "O" rings to tear ... and you can see through them. The clear casing seems to survive the rigours of diesel juice no worries at all. The little copper filter screen can go a bit green though if you leave fuel in the line after use. Don't ask how I know.
