HI my AH special 0.1cc arrived today and the drive plate/thrust washer is loose on the crank shaft i was just wondering if there is anything i can do to remedy this it looks as if the waasher has too large a diameter for the shaft so even when touching the crank case its not tight.
And also when compared with an ae .1cc this engine is freakin' tiny i mean it looks more like a 0.05cc than a 0.1cc i am on holiday so dont have my camera with me but i will see if i can upload a picture by som othe means.
THanks and hope you can help.

Is there a little collet for the drive washer? sounds like it is missing. If not, then somebody didn't make the prop washer or drive washer correctly.
So either you send it back to get it fixed, or you make them yourself.

oH my your best bet is see if you can find a good local machinist who is good at small stuff if he has the one along with the engine should be a simple job to make one that fits right and not too much money some chaps do as a hobby martin
it should not be a complicated piece martin sometimes a question at a local hobby store may direct you in the right direction

Thinking about this with the attention AH made to making engines I doubt that s the original washer made for that engine he would not have sent it out that way, sounds like an other Flea bay screwup martin

Martin that is what i thought but it looks to be original and matches all the pictures of this engine i have ever seen thank you for that site Jens
I would send it back to the seller but dont think i can because i am on holiday and it was shipped to my home so i asked my friend to bring it over for me and when he gave it to me it was broken and i was in his suite case so was probably thrown around a lot.

Bummer. Looks like you need to find someone to make a collet or a new drive washer for it, as well as the prop washer too. There ought to be some machinists or hobbyists with the tools around that can make those parts for you there someplace. Unfortuantely I can't have you come on over on a weekend, so I can check it out and maybe make something, as we have too much distance between us.
