Carb upgrade for PAW .40?
Hello gents,
I finally got a chance to fly my PAW .40 powered CG Tiger 2 for the first time last night. The plane flies very well, and the engine moves it around pretty well. I did, however notice that the carb seems to allow only three settings, idle, medium and full, with nothing in between. It would be nice to have a bit more variety in the power settings. Does anyone have any experience with swapping in other carbs that would better? I have a number of R/C carbs available that might do the trick, but would appreciate the input of those more experienced. Thanks!

RE: Carb upgrade for PAW .40?
MVVS has a R/C carb for .20 to .40 engines that works well with the PAW .40 diesel. A bit oversize to fit in as a replacement for the PAW .40 carb. A fellow turned down the MVVS carb body to fit my PAW .40 diesel. Some folks use this carb for the MVVS .61 diesel as it works better for the MVVS .61 when used as a diesel. Jack

I have the PAW 0.49 TBR RC. Slightly larger than the 0.40, but I want to try the MVVS carb. Is there a part number or reference number for the MVVS 20-40 RC carb that you used? Thanks.
