As many of you would know, David Owen had a large and interesting model engine collection. Sadly, it will all have to be sold off now. There are over 600 engines, many of them diesels, and our intention is to put each one on eBay (my seller ID is 'heave111'). That said, we'll certainly consider reasonable offers for engines prior to auctioning them. There's a wide range of stuff, from nice examples of relatively ordinary engines, to some very rare and significant ones.


Just identifying and cataloguing everything is going to take quite some time. I'll be compiling itemised lists as we go, so that people have some idea of what will be coming up for sale. So far we've worked through about 200 - I'll attach the lists below. Expect to see them start appearing in a few weeks' time. We'll aim to put up about 10 assorted engines a week, at least to start with.
