Default MVVS Prop Screw sixe?

Hello:

What is the proper thread for the prop screw on the MVVS D7. As close as I can determine, it is about a M6X1.

Tia,

Franchi

You are correct!!!!!!
The only die that I had close to this thread was a M 5X1.
Perhaps this is the same thread that ST used on their G15 and G20/.15 engines. I have found some ST .15 engines that have 1/4x28 threads on the crankshafts.
Thanks for the reply,

franchi

1/4 x 28 sounds far too large for a ST .15

I suspect that 10:32 is close to the Metric ST thread. I'll check later today

Hi Gaz:

For some reason, I have a supply of ST .15 cranks. Most are 5mm in diameter but some are indeed 1/4-28. Perhaps these cranks were from the G 20/ .23 engines. I will have to check to see if some of my G20/.15D engines had a crank with a 1/4-28 threads on the cranks. In my foggy mind, I do think that some of the Diesels did indeed have the larger crankshaft thread.

Be well,

Franchi
