Default How to break in an iron and steel Diesel engine?

Break in for iron and steel Diesel engines?

Does on break in a Diesel engine the same way as one breaks in an iron and steel glow engine? That is by running the engine in short rich periods and increasing the length of runs and the temperature of the runs? I have three new Diesels to break in and I am attempting to produce engines that are easy to hand start.

Tia,

Franchi
