Venturi hole size for Irvine .40 conversion?
I want to convert an Irvine .40 RC to CL use. What size of hole should I drill for the venturi if I plan on using an OS nva?
How could I use the existing RC carb for CL use?

Hi Franchi,
The simple one first, if using the r/c carb just wire the throttle fully open and regulate the fuel flow with the main needle like you would with a regular glow engine,
If the intent is to fit a venturi with a straight through spray bar and needle set up then a venturi hole about 5/16" diameter where the spray bar goes through would be a good starting point.

P.S. there is a venturi chart on the Barton Control line site that would give you a better answer.
