Default Engine goes over compressed ???

Hi All:

I have a MVVS 1.5 cc Diesel engine that after properly adjusted, goes over compressed and stoops. It is very hot after it stops. What would cause this? The fuel is good and the prop is a wood 7-6. Does it need more break in time?

I think that I have the nv adjusted correctly and the compression is adjusted high enough to not be misfiring. After about 5 seconds, the engine goes over compressed and stops! Of corse it is very hot!

What could be the reason for this?

Help please!

Franchi

Running over-compressed is the worst for a diesel. Try running it richer at a lower compression setting.

What fuel composition are you using?
