I presume you are talking one of the modern Fox schnurle 15's. Should work fine. My Super Tigre G20-15D's turn a 9x4 at 12,000. Thats a 40-year old non-schnurle engine. Wouldn't be surprised if your Fox does 13,000 or better.

Francis, I just ran my Fox .15 conversion, I had a choice between a MA 9x5 and a Graupner 10x3, I ran the 10x3 at 12,400 rpm. I had a 60 sized Macs tuned quiet pipe slipped over the Fox .15 muffler with a silicon coupler, my neighbor is home. The Mac pipe had no effect on the numbers.

Dave,
If you get a chance please try a 9x4 prop (wood zinger oe black master airscrew) and let me know if it can hit at least 13,000 RPM with that prop. I've got a davis head for my Fox .15 on back order.

It Fly’s!!!
The Fox .15 with Davis head is GREAT! It will turn a 9x4 black MAS prop at 13,000RPM, transitions well and has a reasonable idle. At half throttle it cackles, but it spins up as soon as I hit the stick on the left.

Martin,
I use Davis "Plane Fuel" that I buy from OmniModels (same $7.00 shipping for 3 gal as for any other order). I use Davis "Plane Fuel" for all of my diesels. Fron the PAW .03 to my FOX Eagle III .60.

I have a Fox 15 Diesel, the head is a tigerjet head conversion. I get on the 9 x 4 propeller rev up 14,200 rpm. I am using standard diesel fuel, 1/3, 1/3, and 1/3 with 2% of diesel ignition improver. Is that a kit that you have of the PBX or do you have the plans for it, I am interested in building one. Oh by the way the diesel head is just a button of a head.
Thanks,
