Default Engine Exhibit

This isn't all diesel, but thought you guys might like to see this. I was invited to exhibit some of my engines at work in the lobby. We are a building full of engine designers so the guys are getting a kick out of it, hope you do too.

What is that evil looking white stuff on the ground outside?[8D]

Seriously, that is an amazing collection and effort! Congratulations.

Larry,

That stuff outside is akin to "The Blob". It has infested our area especially hard this year. It's hard to live here and not get some of it on you, but I try hard. I've heard of people that got allot of it on them and were never heard from again. Trying to get my wife to agree to retiring in the southwest but she prefers this vile stuff to rattlesnakes and scorpions, some women just don't get it.

Thanks for the kind words, there is allot of work represented in that display both in making the display racks, but even more in the building and restoration work on many of the engines. Some of them are still in the process and some still waiting. This only emptied roughly 1/3 of my storeage drawers.

Andy,

That's a little .09 I picked up for $20.00. Its Russian and the cyrilic name is UCTKAM. I haven't run it and doubt I will though I've had the weirdest urge to fly CL speed. It really looks impressive, but like the 2.5 deisel by the same company the quality is a little on the sorry side. The head screw holes are tapped crooked and out of line with the head and I had to do some creative adjustments so I could tighten them and seal the head. After that I decided it would be a nice piece to look at but to run it may be more trouble then its worth.
