Default Leo 46 and Magnum 76

I have a Leo .46 I have converted to Diesel (have not tested it yet)and a Magnum .75 XL I am in the process of converting. I have noticed that most diesels from manufactures are listed as cc and not ci. (example 2.5cc diesel) Does anyone know what size in cc a .46 and .75 compare to?

I would like to know because I just my buy a new diesel engine if I like these conversion engines.

Thanks

The .75 would be about 12.5cc and a .40 is 7.5cc so a .46 would a little over 8, I think. Somebody whose more metrical than I am can come closer.

Hobbsy, you are bad in mathematics[X(]

0.75=12.29
0.40=6.5
0.46=7.5

Actually MO I'm very good in math, just not when I try to do metric conversions in my head, I got a 92 in math in Electronics School in Pittsburgh, Pa. But, thanks for setting me straight and , sorry Jim. My wife would not have messed that up, she's a Pharmacy Technician, I should have asked her.

Hi Jim,
How's it going? Long time no hear

For your volume conversion try this site:- [link]http://www.convert-me.com/en/convert/volume[/link]
Just type the volume you know in the appropriate box and hit 'convert'

Thanks for the help guy's. It looks like if I want a diesel engine in a .60 to .90 size I will have to have AJ or Davis make one up for me.

Steve glad to here form you again. I have been very busy over the summer and my building propject where put on hold. Did you every get the oil I sent you for the gas conversion engine?

Thanks again

Hi Jim,
Yes indeed, I did receive the oil (thanks! [sm=thumbup.gif]) and I sent you a couple of e-mails (end of May and beginning of June) to thank you for it. I've just been looking in my 'filing system' and it does seem that there was some confusion and missing mails at that time [sm=confused.gif].

I have been in a very similar situation to you and have not managed to build anything this summer []. We had terrible weather too so even flying became very rare.

Sorry to go off topic... I'll e-mail you, if that's o.k.?

All the best,
Steve

Steve

E-mail me any time. Always glad to here from ya.

As you can see may new project for the winter is a Dynaflite SE-5 with a Magnum 75XL diesel for power. I have a gentleman up in Canada making the diesel head for me. The diesel powered 75 should swing a 15x4 prop. That will look more scale like then the 13x6 glow powered 75 would swing. I'll be posting pic's of the build along the way.

Talk to you later.
