Yes, I think the other Enya diesels have been discussed here before, so I skipped over them. Did you look at the review? I was not impressed.

Jim the numbers I thought were not bad 9x6 10,600 and a 10x6 at 9200 on a 25 close to sport glow 40 and construction pix
top notch but we expect that from enya
and I like the bolt on front end

My 1960 Rivers Silver Arrow 3.2 turns an APC 9 x 6 over 12,000. My C.S. Oliver Tiger 15 replica turned a 9 x 6 at 10,300. My ST G20-15 will turn a 9 x 6 over 11,000. You see why I am not impressed.

RE: New Enya 25 diesel
The review says it's an iron and steel engine, so I'll bet that the reviewer hadn't spent the usual 2-3 hours running it in. I'd be expecting more than what he got from it. But Enyas take an age to run in. I've been running in a .15 glow; after about 1.5 hours it will just about hold 11k rpm on a 9*4 for a 2oz tank, and it's just starting to idle right. Hopefully there's more to come.

Like this one. In case you're wondering that is an MDS .58 muffler, the stock Enya muffler is gutless and very loud. This engine has been run a whole ten minutes. Uh Oh AJ.

RE: New Enya 25 diesel
Called MRC yesterday and they are aware of the 25 diesel ( the US importer of Enya) they evidently have no plans to bring it it per the gal that answered the phone FIRST an APOLOGY to MRC I called back today and talked to their engine guy (Tim) who was not available
yesterday and he is very aware the the BB25 Diesel He told me if they and get a commitment for 2 or 3 they will GET them and
will have to ordered from them they are at 732-225-6360 He stated of course a niche not high demand engine so the chances of seeing it in the local shops USA is doubtful but thought that was really nice on his part martin

RE: New Enya 25 diesel
MRC won't import diesel Enya's?
I'm not surprised. I tried to order some E-Z retracts from MRC once, for an OK Zero E-Z ARF I had (still have!), and I gave up.
Fellows, feel comfortable to order from ModelFlight "Down Under", they are a long established and reputable company to deal with, run by enthusiasts.
Enya engines still have a loyal following in Australia. If their new .25 diesel lasts like an Enya 4 stroke, they will
have a winner!
Looking at the photo's in the review ... what's with the odd "contra-liner" in the .25D? Can anyone explain why Enya have done that?
I also take it that unlike Davis's heads, there is no "O" ring seal on the contra-piston, and that they are juggling metallurgy for the seal, like Irvine did with their .20 and .40 diesels. Is that correct?

They are lapped and mounted tight. Castiron/mehanite expanding very little therefore contrapiston can not loose of contra-liner while running.
Same with the old engines and PAW engines has contrapiston without o-ring.

RE: New Enya 25 diesel
So I placed an online order with Model Flight for an Enya .25 R/C diesel last night, and only after completing the order did I notice they have it marked Out of Stock. Anybody know if they'll be able to get more? I'm wondering if Enya makes these in batches only when there is demand, and when they're gone you have to wait for the next manufacturing batch.
