Most of the flying fields I fly at here in the Chicago area of the U.S. require mufflers. I have to drive about 50 miles to get to a field where I can fly with out a muffler. My unmuffled Oliver Jaguar and GB sideports turn about 5K to 6K with big props and are quiter than a sport .40 glow 2 stroke with a muffler. Jacki

I would definitely want a muffler on the RC version of the Sharma 1.5cc.
I have a nice size retention pond about six hundred feet from my house and it is bordered by houses.
If I were to fly something like a Lazy-Bee on floats, a muffler is a must to not annoy the neighbors.
Since this Sharma looks similar to an Oliver or PAW, the same style ring type muffler would be the way to go.

FOLLOW-UP.
I contacted the Sharma factory and they are working on a muffler design.
If this is a good runner, with RC carb and muffler, it should have a place with the small field group.
I prefer a 1.5cc to an .049 because they are usually not as temperamental, you can use a larger prop to hold the noise down and they fly a model that is only slightly larger than 1/2A. Many 1/2 A models actually include the .09 or 1.5cc as an option.
