2.5cc diesel engine starting problems in a RC car
hello
I require urgent help. I am making a car with a 2.5cc diesel engine. The engine is working fine when run with a
propller. It starts after a few tries of adjusting the compression and air valve. But when mounted on the vehicle
it does not start. I have started it on the vehicle only once. What should I do. The engine fires on the vehicle
but does not start. it rotates a few ounds then stops. Torque is not a problem as I have the seen the engine running
once. I am using two pulley and a belt to for transmission. Pulley ratio 3.5:1.
till now for starting i was pulling the wheel with a belt.
please suggest remedies in fuel, starting mechanism and anything else that might help...

RE: 2.5cc diesel engine starting problems in a RC car
Add a larger flywheel, not easy to run with light flywheel while the engine has hi compression than glow engine..
