DF - the short reply to your question is no, not on it's own.
This forum is chock-full of information on the subject of model diesel engine operation, including a huge amount of stuff on suitable (and unsuitable) fuels, written by people with considerable knowledge and practical experience of these things. It may be an idea to take a little time to go back and read some of the previous posts on the subject. If they don't answer your questions, then there are many folk here who will try and help, I am sure. Alan

There was one. Many years ago. I think it was pre-WWII era. It was a German engine. It's in this forum in a thread somewhere. That's all I know about it.
