Default irvine 53 find

Talked to Bob Davis today and looks like all the machine tools are now in the bigger shop (still in Conn.) He found a lot of engines well (buried in the back room) including a bunch of Irvine 53s UK made. so if anyone needed an orginal 53, hes our man (having 6 or 7 with his heads I am set) martin

and I will pass this on. If anyone has ordered heads and no backstock it will be a week or two before they they get made all the tooling must be set up

It also turns out he has an Irvine 39 that he made a one off head for but being the engine went out of production that was that, too bad, I have one (glow of course) in a 3D magic

Just did a search on Irvine it appears Elite Models UK has some irvine 39s at 72GBP thats around $140 US

Just now 8/1/08 645 PM went on the Just engines site the irvine 39 is about$120US after taking off the VAT

I bought one from Bob.

With a DDD head of course

They come without a carb ... so you need to buy one separately. Just Engines scourced one for me.

Also, the Irvine 53's Bob is selling are not cheep. Then again, it is a premium product as far as I can tell.

He did find 2 or 3 Irvine 53 Jetstream carbs. I am pondering the Irvine 39 as a spare and it has his head martin

I remember when the Irivine .25 diesel was just too big for my needs. Wish I'd sprung for one back then just to put away for the future...
