Diesel Four stroke conversions

I just rebuilt my FS-48 conversion. It needed a new liner and ring. It was missing one of the wrist pin pads and scored the liner and ring. I bought the engine used and don't remember if I didn't inspect it or forgot to replace it when I did. I ran it for quite a while after the damage. While I had it apart I added the new OS crankcase vent system to it. I hope to run it again this or next week after I make a new lanova cell for it.
I'm also nearing flying the FS-91SII. I have a Walbro carb on it. I might make a new intake manifold for it before I do. I have some telemetry equipment for data acquisition to investigate some things I have in mind. Thursday and Friday look nice so I'm going to make every effort to get it in the air before our wonderful 2 week long Chicago fall season becomes winter.
I have FS-120 that I'm going to attempt. It should work, but if the things I saw with the 91 continue with greater size it will be tricky.
I have many other engine related projects on the table. An engine dyno, a duration aircraft, at least two spark ignition conversions of glow engines. I might do a couple diesel four stroke conversions to sell on Ebay.

Greg, I am retired. If you want to run some of your four stroke diesels Friday I could come up to you area to watch. I have seen videos but would like to see the real thing. I could bring my test stand and Drone maybe a GB. Maybe even a model to fly. I am also avilable for the week end weather permiting. What say you? Jack in Downers Grove. Further South and a bit warmer.

That would be fun. I thought I would finish cleaning my garage today, but I still have some to do tomorrow. I'm not sure if my airplane will be done for Thursday. I'll let you know. Maybe we could meet at Shoe Factory Rd. I have no idea if it gets busy during the day there. My club field is in Johnsburg, which would be quite a haul for you.
Add to that list above a few diesel heads for the Norvel .074.

Greg, what town is Shoe Factory Road located near? I have heard of it but not sure where it is. I am busy Thursday but open after 10 am on Friday. Also Saturday and Sunday. We can watch the weather and pick a day we can both make.

Thanks Greg, should be an easy drive. Let me know if Friday around noon if it will work for you. If not, I am available for the week end. Jack
