Hello Chad,
I've read in another forum here at RCU (about a supposedly new JetCat turbine) that the EvoJet Booster 90 is no longer available. I've also read on that same forum that the EvoJet brand is being "substituted" by Hammer turbines. Is there any truth to all these statements? They do not make much sense to me, given that Hammer and EvoJet are, to my knowledge, 2 distinct products. Also, while you are at it, perhaps you could enlighten us on the (near and long term) future plans from EvoJet here in the U.S.
Thank you in advance.

I apologize for the slow reply, I am traveling across the country right now.
It is true, the evoJet 90 is no longer available. It is in the process of being redesigned right now and will emerge slightly larger. However, that release will take a back seat to the new evoJet 220 currently being worked on. In regards to the Hammer IQ / evoJet issue, Hammer IQ (Did Kramer) used to assemble the mechanical portions of the evoJet engines, with Arno Hausmann at evoJet providing all of the electronics. evoJet and IQ Hammer have since split up, and evoJet now produces their own 130 / 160 size engine, completely in-house, with no dependency on other turbine manufacturers. Our new 130vx and 160vx possess a new milled compressor, higher efficiency turbine stage, a re-designed combustion chamber, and a new reinforced starter housing. It has taken our work-horse motor to the next level.
Our plans remain the same; to offer the most reliable motors money can buy.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Chad

Chad,
Thank you very much. This was no slow reply at all...
In light of your info, I take that the SinCity website is somewhat outdated, in that the 90 is still being offered there and the 130 and 160 are not listed as "VX". Or, perhaps, the VXs are not yet on the market (?).
Thank you again.

Again, correct. The VX Is being introduced next week at Jet Power. I do not yet have the updated pricing and specs.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Felker,
We are updating the websites as we speak. Here is what's new:
1) Forged aluminum milled compressor for the 130 and 160 VX, These are not just milled blocks of standard aluminum. These are FORGED.
2) Industry first user-replaceable internal kero plug. We are still using the highest quality 12V kero plugs. I have never had a customer that blew their kero plug, but at least now if it happens, the user will not need to send the turbine in for service.
3) Re designed burner can and more efficient turbine stage
4) Updated electronics for starting and running processes.
5) Improved starter motor housing. A more sturdy mounting design.
More to follow.....
