I just got my G2 delivered tonight. I have read through the manual and pretty much gotten familiar with the helo. Now for a dumb question ... the manual tells you to install the battery, but it doesn't show you which way it fits. Do you need to use the included rubber rings to secure it? If someone has a picture of their battery installed it would be greatly appreciated. I also ordered the flight sim software when I ordered the heo. I recieved "Esky FMS". I installed it on my computer, but everytime I try to run it I get the nasty "FMS has encountered a problem" from microsoft. I am running Windows XP and have 1 GB of memory. What's up with that? You can just secure the battery in the front and use the rubber band to secure it.
