I puchased the new Genesis 450 pe but the canopy does not fit.This is supposed to be a RTF helicopter.When I called customer sevice they told me to trim it. If I do that ,Iwill have tocut approximately 3/8' from the top most fairing to clear the swash plate guide.(the cut to the top of the canopy will ruin the look and lines of the aircraft) I will also have to trim the belly of the canopy to clear the skids.
Can you please explain why NITRO-PLANES will not replace the canopy without my having to return the whole aircraft?
There are other issues with my order that connot or will not be satisfactorly delt with by sutomer service. Though I will adress them one at a time, with you here in this forum.

if you remove the battery from the heli does the canopy fit on it?

NO! I had to modify both the top and bottom of the canopy.
