When I take off my G2 drifts left which I know is normal but also it drifts back. I have the battery placed as far forward as possible. Is this natural for it to also drift backwards?

Check your center of gravity - if it's level when you check, then adjust your elevator trim setting on your tx. That should fix the backward drift.

Ok I'll check. If it is the center of gravity how do I adjust that when the battery is as far up at the nose as I can put it?

if it drifts back then push the trim on elevator up a little, but this could help so much. The important thing is that you need to get it off the ground and predict where the heli goes and counter it. Don't let the heli control you.
