Can I buy the new Exceed Rc 2.4 ghz receiver for my 4 channel falcon 40 and use my Exceed Rc 6 channel 2.4 ghz tx that I am currently using for my exi 450?

Sorry it doesn't work that way. Both radio system are make by to manufacture so it will not be compatible.
