falcon 40
 

just got a falcon 40 and would like to start upgradeing the parts. any suggertions on upgrades.

Chuck, If it's not installed already, fuse mod. is an absolute must!!! This will save your 4in1 from becoming toast. Other mods and upgrades.... Super Skids, then main motor, then LiPo battery. I would recommend in that order. However, if this is a new heli, just charge batt. and learn with the stock stuff. Save upgrade money for parts.... you will need them... Maybe this helps somewhat. will the lipo battery from my esky lama v3 work with this heli, its a 7.4 volt 800mAh 2-cell?

Yes the battery should work. As suggested you should probably do the fuse mod.

Also In my opinion learn to fly on this helicopter and do not worry about upgrading the parts. Only worry about replacing broken parts. Learn to fly on this one than move on to an entry level CCPM. This is more of an entry to single rotor helicopters.

Also might want to get Superskids for durability.

yes, that battery will work, flight times will be from 4 - 6 minutes (more or less)
