Chuck, If it's not installed already, fuse mod. is an absolute must!!! This will save your 4in1 from becoming toast. Other mods and upgrades.... Super Skids, then main motor, then LiPo battery. I would recommend in that order. However, if this is a new heli, just charge batt. and learn with the stock stuff. Save upgrade money for parts.... you will need them... Maybe this helps somewhat. Take care and fky safe.

Yes the battery should work. As suggested you should probably do the fuse mod.
Also In my opinion learn to fly on this helicopter and do not worry about upgrading the parts. Only worry about replacing broken parts. Learn to fly on this one than move on to an entry level CCPM. This is more of an entry to single rotor helicopters.
Also might want to get Superskids for durability.
