Starting my Savage
I had a savage X, 4.6 given to me. Got it to start, ran for about a min then it stalled. Now everytime I start it, it stalls in less then 3 seconds. So, I returned it to factory settings and it doesn`t start. The only way to start it is to adjust the HSN richer(counter-clockwise) and it only runs for 3 seconds. So I try and try, retuning it to factory stttings and adjusting the LSN and the idle and nothing. Can someone throw me a bone here?

RE: Starting my Savage
Probably given to you for a reason. Rotate the flywheel of the engine with your finger with the glow plug in. If you can do it easily, then the engine's shot. Don't fret though, you can get a new piston and sleeve for a lot less than if you bought the savage new.
