Default need ID plus shock towers.

i bought this exceed 4wd buggy as a roller. not sure which model it is, but now she needs new front and rear shock towers.
i put a brushless system in it, and was jumping it really hard today. nothing but the shock towers broke.

1st, where can i find replacement shock towers.

2nd, is there something i could make my own shock towers out of? they really need to be stronger than the stock ones.

NSAR, if it is an electric 1/10 scale Exceed buggy, it is most likely the SunFire. If you are looking for more durable parts, you should be able to use the upgrades for the buggy's nitro equivalent. These can be found at NitroRCX, and the links follow:

I hope this helps you.

Default RE: need ID plus shock towers.

thanx. i was able to find some stock shock towers sold under the redcat name on ebay.

im gonna use my bench vice to flatten out my bent ones, then bolt them to the new ones so they will be double thick! that should add some strenth.
if that doesnt hold up i will buy some from what you posted.
