Exceed infinity 2.7mhz how old is this thing
I have a exceed infinity I need a new piston and sleeve but have run into a problem exceed no longer makes the infinity they make the infinitive witch looks the same my problem is the old vx18 engine does it use the same piston and sleeve or has it changed since I got this truck and started working on it I found out the starter cover is different from the newer vx18 the newer engine has a 1" space between screws and mine has 1 1/4 so did the internals change or will the newer piston and sleeve work on the engine

You can get a new vx18 for like 60$ - i have a neglected 10 year old vx16 I was thinking about rebuilding and ended up seeing it's not worth the money. I saw a few threads on modifying to work with the slight changes in design.
