Default Remote Control Problems

I just got my son the Exceed Sunfire Nitro RC for Xmas. We got it all set up, batteries in the RC, batteries in the car, and I'm concerned that the wheels won't turn when I turn the RC control. On the control I have both a red and green light. The batteries are brand new as well. Does anyone have any ideas that I can try? I'd hate to have to ship it back as it was a Xmas present.

Thanks.

Brandon~

Have you turned the car and remote on and tried to turn the wheel yet ? It dont have to be running to turn the wheels.

Yup. When I turn on the remote I get both a red and green light. When I turn on the car, the wheels twitch. And that's it. Nothing happens when I try turning the remote.

Try replacing the batteries in the car and make sure that it just isnt a bad pack of batteries.

I swapped out the batteries, all good ones, and still got the same. Nothing. I'm going to try to call the Exceed Customer Support to see what and/or how to either fix or return the buggy. This sucks. Anyone have ANY ideas that I could try??

does the throttle work when you try it? try taking the crystals out and putting them back in. also check all of the servos to see if they are connected properly.
