It is possible, but i wouldn't advise it, everyone will tell you to stay with a single speed, which I'm replacing my 2 speed buggy with single speed.

Yes it's possible to replace it with 2 speed because exceed-rc ATV is 2 speed and you can get that transmission and it drops right in. Trucks are usually in single speed.

I would think it would mainly depend on what kinda power you have. My Revo is a 2 speed and i wouldnt have it any other way. Since i opened up my sons infinity and got it breathing alot better its hitting max speed to quickly. So we were thinking of going with a two speed. I was just wondering how close the ratio is with the tranny. Not to mention if the tranny holds up well.

And......is there anyway to modify the gears in the two speed? Im sure if there was a way to that someone would have done it....and you really seem to know your stuff ehroof. Thanks for the reply

your welcome bro and thanks for the compliment. you can put an hpi 13/18 tooth clutch bell in it, you need to get a needle bearing and the bushing setup for it, its only a few buck for them and it will make the gearing lower and the 2 speed better, you can check my posts out on the redcat forum
