it might be the wires in the servo that are bad. just check it over. If they arent brand new it might be broke. if it is i recommend the fatuba ones. they are super fast and strong

Thanks
Andy
Thanks
Andy
I tested the reciever by plugging the steering servo into the throttle channel and it passed. The throttle servo itself wasnt responding to input from the transmitter. I actually took the time and dissasembled the servo and found that a small piece of the black casing material had contaminated the grease and caused a jam. the servo motor was jammed and I had to force the tiny brass gear around with a tiny screwdriver to free it. Once it was un-jammed it responded to the transmitter. I put all the tiny plastic gears back in, sealed it up and installed it. I tested it, but I haven't driven the car because I cant trust it. I ordered a replacement servo, chassis screws and rear pins off nitrorcx lastnight, and fortunately I had ordered new wheels and tires earlier because I know they wear out.
Anhow, is there any warranty on parts? Can I get help in this kinda situation?

i think thats part of the hobby but even if u had a fail safe it still wouldent of helped you b/c the servo jamed. i think you should replace the stock servo with a cheaper but better one like a futaba 3003. it fits right in and will work well for a thottle servo

Let me have your order number and I'll issue a credit for the servo.

Andy. I got an exceed Ultra From Raidentech about 10 days ago. On the 5th tank, just after break in I started opening the throttle up all the way and it was doing good, shifting fine, tracking straight etc. At one point it got stuck wide open as the servo stopped responding. I could not brake or slow the motor. I had to send it flying back my way and made circles around myself at full throttle until I could get close to the thing and pinch off the fuel line. In the process I hit a curb and toasted a back wheel, and scratched the chassis and engine heatsink as well. Damage.
