Default Exceed RC - Infinity!!!

Hey all.

I have recently purchased a Exceed-Rc Infinity, i think its is Awsome!

I have broken the Engine in properly. and have started tuning it. (Also im pretty new to Nitro RC), is there away to stop the truck running off when i first start it, also when im not applying any throttle? ive tried the idle gear , but can not get the right setting.

Thanks All

And i appreciate any comments and tips!

Also i have set the Trim on the trigger controler for the brake. But i dont want to wear away my brake pads too fast. lol

Start by unscrewing the idle screw on the carburator in 1/8 turn increments. This will lower engine idle. There should be about 2mm or less gap that you see in the hole of the carb at idle. I wouldn't rely on servo trim to correct this issue.

I seen a pic on another thread on these forums related to carb tuning. Can someone link it for this guy plz to illustrate what correct settings look like and where the idle screw is. I'll look here in a sec myself

Y'all probably broke your clutch springs like we all have. Stupid clutch springs. Search for the Traxxas spring mod, in the Redcat FAQ. I got the high stall version and it gives a great tire spinning launch.
