rear diff problem

rear diff problem
Searched but couldn't find ne thing here, but I'm having problems opening up the rear diff. I got it out and took the four screws out, whats next?
BTW it is on a 1:8 MT, yesterday the truck stopped rolling like if the brake came on but the brakes were not activated, then when I took off it only has front wheel drive. So I know I'm headed in the right direction just need some more advice. Thnks
