I was sniffing around the Jett website today and I found a high performance 61 in a .46 size case, and it is lighter than an OS AX46. WOW. Has anyone run one of these things? I am ready to buy a new engine, and then find a plane to put it in. (I do things a little bit backwards).
Sounds like a new project on the way.

The Jett 56 replaced the SJ-60LX same animal, new look for 2011 .... I just need to get off my butt to update the website [&:]
Many Jett engines in service, SJ-46, SJ-50 (still my favorite), the SJ-56 good investments.
The other engines like the Evo 60, OS 55, OS 46 are great engines too. With the jett-stream muffler and the right prop, you can get rather spectacular performance. My favorite budget combination is still the TT46 and Jett Stream.

Jett also has one other great engine besides the dedicated "race engine" and that is the Jett 35.
I have the rear exhaust one and it will spin a 8x7 at 21,500.
Jett also makes a 40 in a 25 size case that will spin a 10x6 APC easily at 15,700. This is stronger than any stock 40-55 size engine.
I need to buy one my self.
