Default Elevon Mixer?

Has anyone had any experience with this product:
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXELT4&P=K
According to Tower this is the Elevator-Aileron Mixer for the Great Planes Slinger ARF...whatever that is....

I have a Diamond Dust with a K&B 6.5 on it and i'd like to just use one of my simple 4-channel radios instead of tying up a computer radio.

thanks for any thoughts.

I am not familiar with this mixer model but there are many electronic mixers out there. The only problem with using a 4 ch radio is that you probably don't have any expo which will make flying the DD very twitchy.

John,
But isn't that just the fun of a DD??

Even though i have been using a computer type radio, i've only been using the elevon funtion, nothing has been programmed or touched regarding expo. I've never got into that sort of thing that's why i'm think i should be OK with this mixer. I have very little control surface movement on the DD which helps. It's a blast to fly!

I used that mixer on my Slinger before getting a computer radio. It works fine, but it really dampened that available control throw.
