because I have no idea what it is worth, and I believe auctions give you the best value.

did you see my prather pitch gauge auction? If I had listed it on RCU, would have likely lost $150 of what I will get now..

Auction is the only way to go……I had about 18 motors that I had listed on a club website. Only one sold. Adding up what I was asking totaled $450. I put them on Ebay and got over $1200. Some of the bidding was crazy for the Cox, AME and VA 1/2A racing motors. Do not have your auction end on a holiday or middle of the night. Sometimes the bidding is fast and furious the last minute of the auction.

Its at $385 at the moment.. Could have put it on the RCU marketplace for $250 and it wouldn't have sold in a month...

I have done well with the auctions as well. At least you know it will sell.
