I'm thinking that a 13X16 CF prop spinning at 11,500 on a 115 drinking 70% nitro has a chance with the right airframe. Mine may even do it out of a dive. May give Jeff a fuse and a set of cores and let him play with it. Personally, I think I want to concentrate on flying around pylons.

Jeff, I have seen a couple of the 14" props come apart at under 11K. If I was to pursue getting as much speed out of my airplane as I could I would mold up some CF props. I think the farthest I am going to go is take that 14.5X14.5 and some 50% fuel and start trimming the prop down until I get 10K and see what that gets me. It would be nice if I was able to keep up with Verano with that combo.
