Default Removing mounting lugs from engine...?

Anybody ever tried this?

I just received my 1/2A Shrike (finally!!...2.5 months...) and I will have a hard time fitting anything bigger than a 0.061 engine...

If I can remove the mounting lugs it will be easy, but I think those mounting lugs contribute a lot to the crankcase integrity...

How much can I shave off without the engine coming apart when it's running...?

Rudeboy:
Have cut 75% off the engine mount on Webra 32s with out
problems and had no problems even after a nose down
crash. Did this on several engines...
