Default New model

Today we have been flying with a new model the Stinger 21.
It was equipped with an O.S. max 32SX.
Prop is APC 7x6 wide.
16% nitro.
It was flying geat, fast and stable.
Landing was very easy.
Also can be used a Rossi 21 with 2,4HP.
My friend Nickos has been flying with a Beretta 21
fully cowled, engine Rossi 21 with 2HP.
This model was extremely fast, 300km.
Some pictures are enclosed.

300KM means 300 x .6? 180MPH?

Where are the pics?

Yes, 180 Mph is right.
The link is correct too.
It flies excellent.
You can mount a very fast engine
on the model or a standard engine
with a small prop and more nitro.
The Beretta 21 is fully cowled.
If you want a picture of a model please
send me an email.

Look.

Thanks for the pics and reports guys. I am interested in one of these airframes for general (fast) sport flying. I don't want to race them, but want something that is fast, up to about 150mph (240km/h) but still relatively easy to build and operate. I would prefer to use a standard engine like an OS .32SX too.

So which one of these would fit that description? Sounds like the Stinger might be the best bet?

BTW I have heard that speedmodels has a deal on right now that if you purchase two airframes the shipping is free!

I guess that is the Stinger 21 for use with the OS .32SX. Correct?

Maverick,
The Stinger 21 is indeed the best deal with an O.S. max 32SX.
You can use an APC 7x6 prop and 16% nitro.
The offer is correct untill new year we have the offer:
buy two models and get the shipping costs free.
You will get the fuselage in a bright colour
and an epoxy cockpit also coloured
You can choose all colours except white & black.
There are two different airfoils on the wing for better
flying and landing capabilities.
The wingroot has another airfoil than the wingtip.
The foamwing is sheeted with abachi and reinforced with
epoxy and glasscloth.
The elevator is a sandwhich of thin plywood
and balsa glued with epoxy.
Enclosed is a coloured building plan and building instructions.
With a kit you will receive the wingmarkings with the name of the model.
We also have a deluxe kit with a lot CNC cut parts that is 18,50 euro extra.
If you have more questions please send us an email.
Regards,
Look.

What about the Kasumi 21 Sport with a 32F or 32SX? That seems a bit larger airframe and wingspan which will be easier to see at high speed? What prop would I need and what performance would I see on 15% Nitro?

Right now most of the Jet and Speed Models are being sold at HobbyBarn.com so which is the better deal - ordering 2 from them or 2 from Jet and Speed?

Does Jet and Speed have RTF ARFs of these models?

I thought the Stinger 21 which is listed at 118cm wingspan was bigger than the Kasumi 21 listed at 115cm.

Can somebody please give us a comparison of the Stinger 21 vs Kasumi 21?

Building
Flying
Size
Speed

What other differences?

The Kasumi is a fast model too but the tail is shorter and the wing root is bigger.
With the same engine they have the same speed.
The Kasumi is more manouvareble (or something like that)
and the Stinger is more stable because of the longer wingspan
and longer tail.
It is a little difference in flying character.
If you have less experience with speed flying the Stinger 21 is a better choice.
With a normal engine (O.S. 25) and prop it flies like a trainer.
With a faster engine like the O.S. 32 SX or Rossi 21
and smaller prop it is a fast model.
The Kasumi is more exciting but you need some speed skills.
The Beretta 21 is fully cowled and that is the fastest model in the .21 range.

Look.
