Need a Good prop jet that is easy to Fly ?
Ok after many years I just ditched a great "Jeff Troy MRC Tamecat - if you remember it looked like the F14 , i had a ton of detail, custom cowl , hidden mufler , lights , ect . A stupid elevator adjustemnt two years ago , then I put it in storage flew my WW2 planes and forgot all about it . This weekend went flying, forgot about the elevator adjustemt and yes it came loose.
After 5 min it took a total nose dive .
Is there any cool looking ARF or good lasor kits that look like the f14 and are not that bad to fly with front mounted engines or pusher props? I am an experinecd flyer but dont want a rocket .

I'm putting together this A10, I have a friend with one, it's a great flyer the only drawback that I can see is it's electric. You need to be an advanced pilot to fly. It's a fairly cheap way to have a ducted fan jet, GWS makes it . I think I paid about 150 but it might have been less.

Sorry to hear that Dave it was nice . As far as the A-10 , the picture show the original version , I have that plane . I just bought the new version with bigger engines 300s. If you still have the fisrt one and have not flown yet keep the weight forward , its pitch senceitive , good luck , i used a bigger battery 830 amps on reduced throtle .
I have the new one and have 3 cell lipo in the nose , its the only combo that has worked for me

LDM,
Take a look at the Lanier F-4 Phantom. (ARF)

I've never flown one personally, but have seen them fly. Very docile if you stay within the motor recommendations. Nice looking too, and probably a little more tame, than say the F-20's.

1. Lanier F-4: Flat-bottom wing makes inverted or spins UN-desirable, other than that it flies on rails and looks great! Fiberglass fuse and vert. stab are awesome- Mine was flown with a YS-45 with and "DB without DB" a tuned pipe- [X(] Watch the CG the manuf. is off--
GP Patriot: My favorite plane EVER, not just speed plane, but best airplane period! The kit is about $100 bucks and it will fly with any engine from a 46FX to a Jett-50 (or bigger-) Install some retracts like Spring-Air or mechanicals and hold on! Mine was flown with a Sport Jett-50 9x9 APC, Split flaps, and Spring air retracts- faster than a Ram-500 powered Hotspot turbine
Cermark F-20: Probably the coolest looking of the 3, it is larger (60 sized) and somewhat hard to find (check e-bay or the swap shop here-) honestly lands purty slow without flaps, and gear-up passes are stellar! Mine has a Tower-75, 10x10 APC, and mechanical retracts with nosegear door-
**Recommended** for this F-20 is Airgars set-up, same airplane with a Jett-90 [X(] I have seen him fly it and it was impressive!
Well thats my $1,000- I mean .02

I love the F-20... It will be VERY difficult to make it perform like a Patriot though- But if you want something unique and a little bigger than 40 size then it is worth getting! It is easy and predictable to fly
I am waiting for someone to put an OS-91VRDF DF engine on the nose of one and see what happens-[X(]

Back to the A10,after finding that it was a little under powered, I put a couple of Mabuchi rs36 motors in it. what a rocket! I just am not sure how long they will last with no heat sinks. quite a bit more wt. inthe rear but easily balanced by moving batteries to front of fuselage.
