8,5" from LE at root +/-0,35". That's what I just measured on the plan (pinned on the wall in my livingroom as I consider it the finest piece of art I have)
My Pat is balanced at exactly 8,5" and I'm very happy with it . Never tested to laborate with it.
TOTALLY HORIZONTAL LEVELED, model upside down on two verical .5" wooden sticks (rounded ends)
Everything but the fuel. (I retracted the retracts also )
